Extra Care Services for Older People

Lady Elizabeth House in Maidenhead was opened in June 2005 and provides care and support for 29 tenants. This is Fremantle's first Extra Care supported living service for older people.  Each tenant has their own self contained flat, staff have an on-site office and call into tenants' flats at pre-arranged times of day to provide individually tailored support as required. 

The scheme takes an exciting new approach to meeting care needs for older people in a very high quality environment.  All of the places at Lady Elizabeth House are allocated by The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead; places are prioritised by care managers in the Social Services Department.
