The Fremantle Trust has been providing specialist care and support for older people and adults living with a learning disability for 30 years. We are proud to be a leader in the field of care – largely thanks to our people, who are crucial to the success of our care and support services, and the welfare of all the people who we support.
Working for us
The people who work for us take great pride in knowing that their job makes a significant difference to a person’s quality of life and wellbeing. Working with The Fremantle Trust can be extremely rewarding, satisfying, challenging at times, and ultimately incredibly worthwhile.
By joining us, you’ll be a highly valued member of our very professional, committed and dedicated team. We offer opportunities across our services, for those who have already gained hands-on experience within the health and social care sector - and those who are passionate about supporting others and looking to take on this type of role for the first time.
Inspirational care workers
80-year-old Eugene (Jenny) and 18-year-old Mutsa are colleagues at Fremantle Court Nursing Home. They had the opportunity to talk to BBC Woman’s Hour about why they chose to pursue a career in care and the passion they share for working at the Trust. This inspiring conversation between Jenny, Mutsa and journalist Henrietta Harrison shows how kindness and the desire to help others remains at the heart of jobs in the health and social care sector.
Careers in the care work sector
Across the organisation, we have a wide variety of jobs for enthusiastic individuals. These range from opportunities within our nursing and residential care homes - including care workers, nurses, managers and activity co-ordinators - through to Household and Catering posts.
Our Supported Living Services offer opportunities for people who want to join our teams to provide support for people with a range of learning disabilities and Autism.
We also have opportunities to work within our Business Support Centre, where teams work in our finance, administration and marketing departments, as well as our People Teams (HR and Learning & Development).
Whatever your experience or background, it’s vital that you are passionate, committed and have a desire to help make a difference. We’ll give you the skills, knowledge, training, support and confidence you need to succeed and progress with your career in providing care and support.
How you can make a difference at The Fremantle Trust
We are looking for people who want more than simply turning up each day and doing a job.
