Homely en-suite rooms
Each fully furnished room is modern, bright and comfortable, and has been specially designed with an older person in mind. Rooms are spread over two floors and each one has an en-suite and is wheelchair accessible. Some of our ground floor rooms even have their own private garden and patio area. A 24-hour carer call system is provided, along with phone and TV points. Residents are encouraged to bring their own personal furnishings from home to add that special touch.
Comfortable communal areas
A variety of spacious and welcoming communal areas are located on-site, including a garden lounge, coffee shop, cinema and activity room which provide a stimulating space to interact with friends. We cater for every personality so if they prefer, residents can simply pick up a book from one of the ‘floating’ bookshelves and head to a quiet room or window seat nearby. For ease, both floors can be accessed via stairs or lift.
Visiting local wildlife and raised flower beds
Breathing in the fresh air and actively taking part in some gardening is great for the mind, body and soul. Our attractive and spacious outdoor area provides a safe and relaxing environment for green-fingered individuals to participate in potting and planting. We’ve got raised flower beds that offer a more comfortable height to allow creativity to flow within our residents. In the summer months, pitch and putt and croquet are held outside and we have regular visits from local wildlife including squirrels and deer.
Fresh food served daily
Food is something everyone enjoys and it’s a big part of life at Fremantle Court care home. We source local produce when possible and our food is freshly cooked on-site. We offer a wide choice of meals and welcome suggestions from our residents when menu planning to ensure we cater to everyone’s dietary needs and palate. Visitors are welcome to join us at mealtimes (for a minimal charge) or can use the kitchenettes as they would at home.
Access to specialist services
We are committed to delivering expert care and support for older people. As well as providing a personal key worker and personal support plan for each individual, we work alongside other local healthcare professionals, including opticians, chiropodists and district nurses. We also hold religious services regularly within our care home.

With a modern hairdressing salon run by qualified hairdressers located on-site, we provide a range of styling options for residents, both male and female. We ensure everyone can enjoy a bit of pampering, and even offer manicures.
