Lent Rise House: Care Home in Burnham Facilities

All of our rooms are fully furnished and bright, featuring state-of-the-art profiling beds, which are designed with an older person in mind. Every comfortable room has an en-suite, is wheelchair accessible and is large enough to accommodate any specialist nursing equipment as and when it is needed. A 24-hour carer call system is provided, along with a phone and TV points. We also encourage residents to bring their own furnishings from home to add that finishing touch.

Food is something everyone enjoys and it’s a big part of life at Lent Rise House. We source local produce when possible and our food is freshly cooked on-site. To keep mealtimes interesting, we offer a wide choice of meals and welcome suggestions from our residents when menu planning to ensure we cater to everyone’s dietary needs and palate. Visitors are welcome to join us at mealtimes (for a minimal charge), or use the kitchenettes as they would at home.

Each wing has its own on-site communal areas including dining areas, lounges and quiet rooms. These spaces provide a friendly and stimulating setting for individuals to get involved in our variety of social activities, events or simply to meet up with friends and family. The outdoor area enables everyone to take part in some light gardening and enjoy the changing seasons whilst breathing in the fresh air. 

We encourage individuals to spend quality time outside in our safe and beautifully landscaped garden space – perhaps to enjoy a catch up over a cup of tea or to take part in some gardening activity. During the summer months, we make sure the garden is bright and colourful by putting out some stunning hanging baskets and raised flower beds. 

We are committed to delivering expert care and support for older people with a variety of individual care needs, including dementia. A personal support plan is tailored to each person and is reviewed regularly to ensure that we continue to meet any changing needs. We work in partnership with local healthcare professionals, including opticians, chiropodists, physiotherapists, district nurses, GPs and dieticians. We also hold religious services regularly within our care home.

Lent Rise House in Burnham has a modern hairdressing salon run by qualified hairdressers located on-site. Our salon provides a range of styling options for both male and female residents, so they can enjoy getting their hair done and feel pampered – one of life’s special treats.

Whether you’re a dog, cat, hamster or rabbit-lover, we know that caring for a pet can be both rewarding and beneficial for an older person. So, we do everything we can to support people so they can continue to care for their furry companions.
