This month The Fremantle Trust is officially marking 25 years of providing high quality, person-centred care.

Since establishing in 1992, the Trust has grown and now runs services in 58 locations and employs more than 1,850 people.

Team members, residents, tenants and the wider community have participated in a host of anniversary themed events organised by the Trust’s older people and learning disability services over the course of the year, including the spectacular Fremantle in Bloom gardening competition, the annual FreFest celebration and the recent launch of a collection of 25 poems on National Poetry Day.

Services across the Trust have held a number of events during October to celebrate the anniversary, from a masquerade ball, to traditional afternoon tea, fine dining, a jazz themed party and an awards ceremony.

Commenting on the anniversary, Steve Flanagan, chief executive of The Fremantle Trust said:

“We are proud to be marking this milestone, having witnessed changes over the years influenced by a fast-evolving health and social care landscape. While innovation is at the forefront of the way we deliver our services, our values remain constant as we seek to ensure the people we support and care for remain at the heart of everything we do.

“The celebrations have been an opportunity to say thank you and to raise a toast to our special anniversary.”
