Residents at Sir Aubrey Ward House in Marlow weren’t going to let isolation get in the way of their entertainment coming in.
Emily Yarrow, an entertainer who has performed at Sir Aubrey Ward House before, put on a lovely show in the home’s garden this week. Thankfully the weather was sunny and warm so residents gathered outside on the balconies and patio areas to enjoy the afternoon, donning an impressive selection of sunglasses and sunhats.
Emily sang an array of songs, including ‘Top of the World’ by The Carpenters and ‘A Wink and a Smile’ by Harry Connick Jr, the last of which had a few residents up and dancing!
Emily maintained safe social distancing rules by being some 10 feet away, but it was lovely to see residents dancing away and enjoying the show.
A big THANK YOU to Emily and the team at Sir Aubrey Ward House, who made this afternoon possible.
