To celebrate the milestone birthday of Rhoda Emma Cross, The care team at The Heights pulled out all the stops to give her a memorable 100th birthday party. 

Born in 1921, Rhoda lived in Southall and would love to go out with her husband on Saturday nights. Her only birthday request was to ‘see and have her relatives with her,’ so the home provided not only this, but a big party in the main reception with a birthday cake, presents and entertainment from singer Maria from The Big Voice.

When asked about her secret to living to such an incredible age, Rhoda commented: “Living a decent life. Live properly and enjoy the freedom of doing what you like.”
