At the Fremantle Trust, we believe that staying connected to the community and remaining active is essential for the wellbeing of our residents. To keep this going we ensure that our residents have a range of activities to participate in all year round, this time, our residents proudly participated in the Alzheimer’s Memory Walk. This cause holds special meaning for many of our residents, and this year, they were eager to get involved and make a difference.
On the day, our Mulberry Court residents, with their family members and staff, took to the local streets to raise funds. Some residents even spent time doing laps around our garden throughout the day to ensure they played their part. Their efforts paid off, raising a total of £60.
One of our residents shared, “It was great to get out into the community and do our part to raise funds.” Another added, “I really enjoyed the walk, and I’m proud we could raise money for such an important cause.”
Events like the Alzheimer’s Memory Walk aren’t just about raising funds—they help keep our residents active, engaged, and connected to the world around them.
We’re incredibly proud of our residents’ efforts and commitment to making a difference. The Alzheimer’s Memory Walk is a wonderful example of how we come together to support important causes while staying active and engaged with our local communities.
