Sometimes, it’s the little things that make the biggest difference. That’s exactly what we’ve seen at Fremantle Court Care Home in Stoke Mandeville with the installation of a new bus shelter right outside the home. This simple addition is already making life a bit easier for our residents, staff, and visitors.
Our team came up with the idea, noting that a sheltered space would be a huge help for residents, staff, and visitors waiting for transport. Whether it’s protection from the rain, a spot to rest, or just somewhere to wait comfortably, the shelter is already making a difference.
What makes this project extra special is the support from Buckinghamshire County Council and Stoke Mandeville Parish Council. Their help and enthusiasm brought the idea to life, and we’re so grateful for their involvement.
“This might seem like a small thing, but it’s had such a big impact,” said Sue Faulkner, Community and Lifestyle Manager. “It’s thoughtful, practical, and shows how much we care about creating a better environment for everyone here.”
We’re incredibly grateful to the Parish Council for their help and commitment to making this project a reality. It’s a shining example of how local partnerships can improve our shared community.
